Suitcases of all shapes and sizes wheeled by her. Brightly coloured, clinking duty-free bags toted along. Heads swivelling, eyes anxiously, patiently watching and waiting for the first sight of loved ones.
The passengers gradually shifted from those returning from a week in the sun to the more exhausted long haul flyers. Clodagh straightened up, eyes peeled ready to catch his attention. Would he recognise her after so long? She gasped as he carelessly sauntered though the gate, holding hands with a petite brunette. His gaze landed on Clodagh and he visibly paled as he took note of the pram.
Love it, Deirdre. Could be a book in this one!
Thanks Siobhan 🙂
